1:72 Unarmed Hawker Hurricanes Mk.I / Mk.IIc Decals is a decal sheet from Mark I aimed at Hurricanes operated without armament.
Responsibility details are not available.
This sheet of wet decals from Mark I is aimed at the Hawker Hurricane in the Mk.I and Mk.IIc versions operated without guns. It is neither a kit nor a metal accessory but printed markings with which you round out a model built from plastic. The decals are applied with water and once dry they blend with the surface.
The Hurricane was a British single-seat fighter with a Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, following in construction the older school of a metal frame with fabric covering. In 1940 it made up the more numerous part of the British fighter defense and could take heavy combat damage. The Mk.IIc version had an armament of twenty-millimeter cannon. Machines whose guns were removed went on serving for training, for carrying people, for calibrating ground stations and for other auxiliary duties where a reliable, easily handled aircraft came in useful.
The finish under a decal must be gloss, otherwise a silvery veil will appear around the print. Cut the marking out close to the edge, soak it in lukewarm water and let it rest until it starts to move freely. Once seated, draw the water off and coat the area with a matte clear coat. Wipe any remains of binder from the back of the film away carefully with a damp cloth once dry, otherwise they will stay visible as matte smears.
