The BelAZ-75473 is meant for hauling ore and overburden in the demanding conditions of deep quarries, along haul roads and across a wide range of temperatures. It is powered by a powerful diesel engine with a hydromechanical transmission; the high-set cab, the protective overhang of the body above the cab, the massive tipping hydraulic cylinders and the enormous tires are typical. BelAZ machines are among the best-known products the Belarusian engineering industry exports, and they work in quarries and mines all over the world.
Put the parts together dry first, check the seating of the body and the tipping cylinders and only then glue with an adhesive suitable for the material they are made of. The large surfaces of the body and the hood deserve a primer and a top coat applied with an airbrush in thin coats. It is the weathering, though, that gives the model its own character: a dark wash into the engraving, fine scuffs on the edges of the body and the steps, and pigments in the color of the rock on the chassis and the tires.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
