This injection-molded plastic kit captures a British twin-engined aircraft of the mid-1930s in 1:72 scale. The scheme refers to the type's entry in a long-distance air race and the box includes decals for the matching markings. It is a short-run kit; the model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Airspeed Envoy was a British twin-engined all-wood transport and communications aircraft of the mid-1930s. It stood out for its aerodynamically clean design and was used in civil service as well as in the long-distance competitions of the period. Military derivatives later grew out of the basic design.
With short-run kits expect to clean the parts up carefully, check the fit and do some filling. Glue the parts with thin liquid cement for plastic and attach the small parts with care. Smooth surfaces come out best after a primer and a gloss coat, onto which decals go down easily with no silvering at the edges.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
