Velorex painting mask 1:35 (Art Scale, double-sided)

This is a set of painting masks, not a resin part and not a model. The mask is meant for a model of the Czech Velorex three-wheeler in 1:35 scale. The express fit form means parts cut exactly to suit that model, and the double-sided masking then allows the glazing to be covered from the outside and from the inside.

What the mask is for

The individual parts of the mask are stuck onto the glazing and the other designated areas, creating sharp, clean transitions between the paint and the clear parts. The parts are usually numbered and, together with the instructions, identify unambiguously what is to be masked.

Use

• Lift the parts carefully off the sheet and lay them exactly on the designated areas
• Apply the paint with an airbrush in thin coats so that it does not creep under the mask
• Remove the mask while the paint is fresh, for the sharpest edge
