The AH-1W is the twin-engine combat variant of the Cobra family, operated by the US Marine Corps. Against its single-engine predecessors it offered higher performance and a wider composition of armament, from unguided rockets to anti-tank missiles. The crew sits one behind the other in a narrow fuselage, so the inside is well visible both from the side and from above and its treatment has a large share in the resulting impression. The clear canopy on models of this family tends to be clean in shape, so it really is easy to look inside.

Working with relief decals

First verify dry where each part belongs, because a shifted position is put right only with difficulty once dry. Let the ground be matte and even. Soak the decal for a few seconds, let it rest on a paper towel and only then move it into place. Press the edges down with a cotton swab and let everything dry thoroughly before you close the cabin up.
