A resin detail set for experienced modelers, not an aircraft kit. The set replaces the cockpit in a kit with a faithfully cast resin interior of the American Fairchild Republic A-10A Thunderbolt II attack aircraft, nicknamed the Warthog, in 1:48 scale. The A-10 has a rugged armored cockpit, and rendering it in detail lifts the finished model considerably.
The castings capture the cockpit tub, the ejection seat, the instrument panel with its glare shield, the side consoles and small detail parts. The fine relief of the instruments and controls far surpasses the simplified parts from the box. The set is shaped for a matching A-10A kit in this scale.
This is a resin detail set, not a model. The base kit, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
