The Armycast 1:48 waterslide decal set for the A-4 Skyhawk (Scooter) in Israeli service offers period markings of this attack aircraft of the Israeli Air Force.
Responsibility details are not available.
A sheet of Armycast waterslide decals in 1:48 scale for a model of the Douglas A-4 Skyhawk attack aircraft, nicknamed the Scooter, in the service of the Israeli Air Force (IAF). It is not a kit or masks, but a decal set with which you transfer particular Israeli national markings and tactical codes onto a model.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a compact single-seat carrier and land-based attack aircraft that earned the nickname Scooter for its agility and small size. The Israeli Air Force committed Skyhawks intensively from the end of the 1960s and the aircraft carried a number of characteristic schemes and markings. The set contains period Israeli national markings and the tactical codes of the corresponding aircraft.
The decals are waterslide (wet) decals. Prepare the surface to a smooth gloss, ideally with a coat of gloss varnish, so that the edges do not silver. Dip the decal briefly in lukewarm water, slide it onto the model, gently work out the water and the air bubbles and let it dry. On broken-up surfaces a decal softener helps. Once dry, give the whole a coat of flat or semi-gloss varnish.
This is an accessory decal set, not a model. The aircraft kit itself, paints and varnish are not included in the package.
