This set from the brand Quinta Studio serves to finish the cockpit of a model of the A-6E carrier-based attack aircraft in 1:48 scale. It is neither a kit nor a set of plastic parts: the interior elements are three-dimensionally printed, already painted and carried on decal paper, as the name states. The Intruder has a cockpit with the seats side by side, so it is unusually wide and much of it is visible once the canopy is opened. That is exactly where careful work on a model shows most.
The Grumman A-6 Intruder was a two-seat carrier-based attack aircraft built for strikes in all weather and at night, that is for tasks beyond the reach of other carrier aircraft of its day.
