A resin detail set from Aires for 1:48 scale. This is not an airplane model but an aftermarket accessory for the early A-7E version. It replaces the box cockpit interior with a faithfully cast resin tub with an instrument panel, a side console and an ejection seat, usually complemented by photo-etched parts and an instrument decal.
The A-7E Corsair II was an American carrier-based subsonic attack aircraft. It was marked by its accurate navigation and attack system and by its considerable range. The early forms differed from the later ones in some elements of the cockpit equipment.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and bond with super glue. Paint the interior before the fuselage is closed and pick out the details with a wash and a dry brush. Check that the set fits the chosen kit dimensionally.
The plastic kit itself, paints and glue are not included in the package.
