It holds the AIM-132 ASRAAM short-range air-to-air missile with infrared guidance, supplemented by photo-etched parts and decals. This is a weapons accessory for models of modern fighters in 1:48 scale, not a kit of an airplane.
The AIM-132 ASRAAM is a British short-range air-to-air missile with passive infrared guidance, intended for close air combat. A number of modern fighter aircraft of Western air arms carry it. Accurate casting of the body, the fins and the seeker head adds conviction to the external stores of a model.
Wash the resin parts to remove the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Bend the etched parts over an edge and glue them spot by spot. Protect your airways while sanding. Spray the body of the missile according to the markings of the period and add the enclosed decals.
This is a weapons accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
