A set of fine resin parts made by 3D printing, representing ammunition boxes for the German MG 34 and MG 42 machine guns in the smaller 1:48 scale. It is not a vehicle model but a detail accessory for bringing dioramas, figure scenes and armored vehicles to life. The set holds closed and open boxes, some with a belt of rounds suggested.
Ammunition boxes fill out the field equipment of machine gun teams and of vehicle crews. Place them on the fenders, in the bed or beside figures and the scene gains scale detail and credibility at once.
Wash the uncured print resin residue off the parts, cut the print supports away and clean them up. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Because of the small scale, work with tweezers and a sharp scalpel; paint in thin coats and bring the detail out with a wash.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and without glue. Paints and other materials are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
