Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Czechoslovak Avia BH-9 Boska light aircraft in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer Kovozavody Prostejov. The set contains plastic sprues, clear parts and decals for period markings. It is a rewarding subject from the beginnings of Czechoslovak aviation.
The Avia BH-9 came about in the 1920s as a light low-wing monoplane from the design office of Benes and Hronek. It followed on from a line of successful Avia sporting and training aircraft and was known for its agility and pleasant flying qualities. Machines of this type were used in training and in the air contests of the period, and they are among the icons of interwar Czechoslovak aviation.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. On an aircraft of this period, give care to the struts and to any rigging, which adds to the fidelity of the model. A primer is recommended, along with matte period shades applied with an airbrush and light accentuation of the structure of the covering. Coat the areas under the decals with a gloss varnish and then flatten them.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
