A set of die-cut self-adhesive masks from the New Ware brand in the Advanced variant for a model of the American B-1B Lancer strategic bomber. It is not a kit — these are precisely shaped masks of thin masking tape. The Advanced level covers the cockpit glazing including masks for the window sealing frames and adds masks for further details, so it makes the clean spraying of the demanding cockpit of a large aircraft easier.
The B-1B Lancer is an American supersonic strategic bomber with a variable-geometry (swing) wing. It came about as a carrier of nuclear as well as conventional armament with low detectability and a long range. The extensive cockpit with many windows makes masking a lengthy job, and this set simplifies it.
Lay the masks on clean glazing, press them down along the edges and spray the shade of the frames and the seals; in two steps the color of the seals can be separated from the color of the fuselage. The thin tape conforms to the curvature and leaves a crisp edge. Once dry, remove the masks carefully.
This is a masking set. The model and the paints are not included in the package.
