1:48 BAC/EE Canberra B.2/B.20 pitot tube from MASTER is a turned brass accessory that replaces the fragile plastic airspeed probe on a model of the British Canberra bomber.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT a kit but a detail accessory. It is a turned brass pitot tube for models of the British English Electric (BAC) Canberra jet bomber in the B.2/B.20 versions in 1:48 scale. The metal part is accurate in shape and far more durable than a thin plastic molding.
The English Electric Canberra was a British jet bomber that stood out for its high ceiling and its long service career with the RAF and with other operators. The B.20 version was built under license in Australia. The pitot tube senses the dynamic air pressure for measuring airspeed.
Cut off the original plastic spike, clean up the hole and set the metal tube in place with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Degrease the part before gluing. The brass can be left bare or painted according to the scheme.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
