A masking set for the cockpit canopy frames of the SEPECAT Jaguar GR.1/3 in 1:48 scale, dealt with outside and inside.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of stencils for the framing of the canopy and the windscreen of the British Jaguar strike aircraft. It covers the areas from the outer side and from inside, so the frame looks just as convincing seen into the cockpit as from outside. The cutouts are adapted to the mold Kitty Hawk offers for this type.
The Jaguar came out of a joint British and French program and the Royal Air Force deployed it as a single-seat tactical strike and reconnaissance aircraft. The GR.1 version gradually saw its navigation core replaced and later upgrades moved the machine to the GR.3 standard with new avionics. Characteristic are the high-set wing, two relatively slender engines side by side and unusually tall landing gear, because the aircraft was meant to be able to work from hastily prepared strips as well. In combat it proved itself over Iraq and over the Balkans, where its ability to fly low and fast was put to use.
The glazing of the Jaguar consists of a long one-piece canopy joining a separate windscreen. The transition between them has a faceted shape and a straight line is exactly what is hard to hold there with a brush. The double-sided set solves that problem for you: the inner cutouts are applied to the underside of the part before it is glued into the fuselage, and the outer ones only once the base has dried.
