Rob Taurus 1:48 Wellington Mk.I canopy is a vacuum-formed clear cockpit canopy for a model of the British bomber. It is an accessory, not a model of an aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is a vacuum-formed clear cockpit canopy in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Rob Taurus. It is NOT a kit of the aircraft but replacement glazing for a model of the British Vickers Wellington Mk.I bomber. The clear thin-walled material improves both the optics and the fidelity to scale over the thicker production parts.
The Vickers Wellington was a twin-engine British bomber of the Second World War, famous for the geodetic lattice construction of its fuselage, which gave the aircraft exceptional resilience. The Mk.I version was among the first production forms and was committed in the opening phase of the war.
Cut the part out slightly outside the outline and sand it down to an exact fit. Glue it with clear glue for transparent parts or with thin gel cyanoacrylate, so that no fogging occurs. Mask the frames carefully before spraying.
This is a standalone accessory (a cockpit canopy), not a complete model. The kit itself, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
