French Kieffer commando on the march No.6 1:35 is a resin figure of a member of the French commandos from the Normandy landings, from Dynamo-Models.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin figure in 1:35 scale captures another member of the French commandos on the march. Pose No.6 completes the series of marching soldiers and with the other figures it forms a natural group advancing across a battlefield. The quality casting is intended for more experienced modelers and collectors; it is supplied as a set of parts to assemble and paint.
The French commandos of Commander Kieffer were the only French ground unit committed directly to the Normandy landings on 6 June 1944. After demanding commando training they fought alongside the Allies on the coast and inland. The marching pose with equipment faithfully captures their advance and suits a narrative group of several figures.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks off and line them up. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate), fill the joints with putty and do the sanding with respiratory protection. Paint the uniform and equipment with acrylic figure paints in layers and shade and lighten the face for a lively expression. The figure can be combined with the other poses of the series into a whole group.
The figure is supplied unassembled and unpainted, in resin. Paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
