A set of photo-etched parts in 1:48 scale for detailing a model of the British SEPECAT Jaguar tactical attack aircraft in the GR.1 and GR.1A versions. It is an aftermarket accessory from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that adds fine metal details beyond what plastic allows. Color-printed elements refine the instrument surfaces and the interior.
The SEPECAT Jaguar is a British-French single-seat attack aircraft developed for low-level tactical strikes and reconnaissance. It served in Royal Air Force use as the GR.1 and the upgraded GR.1A for many years and took part in combat operations. Its broken-up surface and its cockpit offer plenty of scope for detailed work.
The photo-etched parts are cut off the fret, bent over a bending tool and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The color-printed surfaces are not painted over with opaque paint. It is a good idea to pre-shape the smaller parts before gluing.
An accessory for more advanced modelers. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
