The Bell AH-1G Cobra double-sided Express mask Art Scale 1:48 is a set of precisely pre-cut self-adhesive masks in kabuki tape from the Czech manufacturer Art Scale. It contains neither a model nor paint: it serves for fast, clean masking of the cockpit glazing and, as a rule, of the wheels as well when spraying. The double-sided version masks the outside and the inside of the glazing, so the cockpit frames can be painted on the visible side too.

The real subject

The Bell AH-1G Cobra was the first production attack helicopter in the world, deployed by the US Army during the Vietnam War. It is recognizable by its slim body, the tandem seating of the pilots and the nose fitted with cannon or rocket armament. The narrow cockpit with its angular frames makes masking the glazing a laborious part of the build, one that this set shortens considerably.
