This product is not an aircraft model but a detail accessory (an aftermarket set) in 1:48 scale from the Eduard brand. It contains 3D-printed main landing gear legs that replace the standard plastic parts and bring sharper, more faithful detail. The set is prepared directly for the kit of the German fighter Messerschmitt Bf 109 G from Eduard - without that base kit you cannot use it.
The Bf 109 landing gear is prominently visible because of its narrow track and the raked mounting of the legs, and its detail shows clearly on the model. 3D printing captures the structure of the struts, the joints and the surface more finely than production plastic; the parts go in place of the original plastic landing gear legs and raise the realism of the whole assembly. The set targets the Bf 109 G series specifically, the Gustav.
Carefully separate the 3D-printed parts from the print supports with a sharp knife or photo-etch shears, clean up the cuts and sand them lightly. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate); protect your airways when sanding resin. Apply primer before painting, spray the colors with an airbrush in thin coats and bring out the landing gear detail with a wash.
