This resin conversion set brings a finely cast early pilot seat for a model of the German Messerschmitt Bf 109F fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a stand-alone airplane model but an accessory that replaces the seat from a kit and makes it possible to render the early cockpit configuration more faithfully. The casting has crisp details and thin edges.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109F was a German fighter of the Second World War and one of the most successful versions of the whole line. Compared with the older variants it offered aerodynamically cleaner shapes, rounded wingtips and a more powerful engine. The F version was a favorite with pilots thanks to its balanced handling.
Wash the mold release residue off the parts, carefully separate them from the casting blocks and bond them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear respiratory protection while sanding. Before gluing, check that the seat matches the early cockpit configuration you have chosen.
This is an add-on set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
