This resin add-on set from the Eduard Brassin range brings accurately rendered barrels for the onboard weapons of the Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 fighter in 1:48 scale. The finely cast resin parts replace the plastic barrels from the box and raise the realism of the model. This is a detail accessory, not an aircraft kit.
The Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of the legendary German fighter of the Second World War. It was typified by its armament, with a cannon firing through the propeller hub and a pair of machine guns above the engine under characteristic fairings that earned the nickname Beule for their bulge. It is precisely the muzzles of these weapons that the set reproduces faithfully.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, carefully separate the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The metal muzzles of the barrels come into their own once painted in a dark metallic shade with light wear picked out.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
