An accessory set from the LööK line in 1:48 scale for a model of the British carrier attack aircraft Blackburn Buccaneer S.2C and S.2D.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Blackburn Buccaneer is a British two-seat attack aircraft built for a low-level run over the sea. The whole design matches that: an exceptionally strong airframe able to take the loads close to the surface, a folding nose and a split rear fuselage serving as an aerodynamic brake, and a folding wing for operation from a deck. The S.2 version forms the later and more widespread branch of the type and belongs among the favorite subjects for modelers, because it carries a striking shape and varied paint schemes.
This is an accessory set for a model of the Buccaneer S.2C and S.2D in 1:48 scale. Accessory sets are used where a kit offers only a simplified shape and a modeler wants to see more detail on the finished model than in the basic form. What exactly the set contains and how the individual parts are fitted are described in the manufacturer's instructions; from them you will also learn which parts from the kit are replaced and which have to be modified.
The parts are not of polystyrene, so glue for plastic models will not join them; use superglue and apply it in a small amount. Cut the excess material and the traces of manufacture off with a sharp blade a little away from the part and sand the remainder down carefully. Wash and degrease the parts before painting and lay down a primer coat, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth surface. Try the fit dry first, and fit the elements for the cockpit before you close the fuselage.
The set is an accessory to a kit. The model, paints, glue and decals are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
