The Big Ed set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard brings together in one package the first part of the accessories for the plastic model of the Boeing B-17F Flying Fortress in 1:48 scale. It is a set of details, not a model. This variant is prepared for the version with the regular (standard) nose glazing. The box contains colored photo-etched interior parts, further photo-etched airframe detail and self-adhesive masking film.
The Boeing B-17 Flying Fortress was an American four-engine heavy bomber of the Second World War, famous for its toughness and heavy defensive armament. The B-17F version was a transitional variant before the definitive G version and was used on daylight strategic raids over occupied Europe.
The colored photo-etched parts are pre-printed and take the place of the plastic interior parts. Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Check that the nose of your base model matches the regular glazing this set is prepared for.
This is an accessory set, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package.
