A LooK detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard for a model of the Boeing F/A-18E Super Hornet carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an improvement for the cockpit. The set contains a three-dimensional, pre-printed color instrument panel with faithfully rendered multifunction displays, and photo-etched steel seat belts to go with it. The parts replace the plastic components of the model and give a modern cockpit a realistic look.
The F/A-18E Super Hornet is the enlarged and modernized version of the Hornet, operated above all by the US Navy. The cockpit of the single-seat E version is marked by large-area color displays and modern avionics, which the pre-printed panel captures well.
