A resin detail part, not an airplane kit. This set of finely cast resin replaces the barrels of the cannon of the British English Electric Canberra B(I).8 ground-attack and reconnaissance aircraft in 1:48 scale. This version carried its cannon armament in the bomb bay, and faithful barrels with drilled-out mouths will take the place of the simplified parts from the box. The part is meant for more advanced modelers with experience of resin.
The barrels of the cannon are a small but conspicuous detail that is hard to drill out on plastic parts and easily damaged. The resin casting offers a sharp, open mouth and an accurate shape, so the armament looks realistic. Once glued on and painted in metallic shades they markedly lift the impression of a finished model.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a model. The base kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
