A sheet of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Print Scale, the second part of the series for the de Havilland Mosquito. It contains a further choice of national insignia and markings. The decals are transferred onto a model with water (wet decals) and they serve as an alternative or an addition to the decals from the box. The kit itself has to be obtained separately.
The de Havilland DH.98 Mosquito was a British twin-engine multipurpose aircraft of the Second World War with a largely wooden structure. It stood out for its speed and its versatility and it served as a bomber, a fighter, a night fighter and a reconnaissance machine in the RAF and with other Allied air forces.
Apply the decals over a smooth gloss clear coat, which prevents the silvering effect under the film. Cut the motif out, dip it briefly in lukewarm water and once it has softened slide it onto the surface of the model. Once dry, go over it with a matte or satin varnish; a decal softener helps it settle onto the detail.
