The decal sheet MiG-3, part one, in 1:48 scale from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models offers five camouflage schemes for models of this Soviet fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A waterslide decal sheet from the Hungarian manufacturer HAD models for models of the Soviet MiG-3 fighter in 1:48 scale. It is the first part of a series, so the sheet covers its own set of machines and further parts follow it in the manufacturer's range. The product is not a kit: it holds decals only, for a model that is already built and painted.
The sheet offers five camouflage schemes, that is five complete sets of national insignia, tactical numbers and supplementary lettering. The printing is done on a thin carrier film, which is lost to the eye once varnished over, so the markings look sprayed on. The exact placing of the designs and the recommended camouflage shades are given on the sheet of schemes enclosed in the package.
First varnish the area under the decal with gloss clear coat. Cut the design out close around the printing, dip it in lukewarm water for a few seconds and let it rest until the film releases from the backing. Slide it onto the dampened place, fine-tune the position with a soft brush and soak the surplus water up with absorbent paper. Lay a softener onto the engraved lines and panel joints. Once it has dried completely, unify the model with a matte varnish, which hides what is left of the carrier film.
This is a decal sheet, not a kit. The model, paints, glue and varnishes are not included in the package.
