A set of wet decals in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer AML, devoted to the Bell P-39 Airacobra in the K-1 and N-0 versions. The motifs relate to the fighter pilot Alexander Pokryshkin, one of the most successful Soviet pilots of the Second World War. This is not a kit but aftermarket markings for finishing a model.
The American Bell P-39 Airacobra fighter had an unusual layout with the engine behind the pilot and a nose landing gear. In the Soviet Air Force it proved itself at low and medium altitudes and a number of Soviet aces ran up high scores on it. Pokryshkin was among the pilots who made their name with the Airacobra through their tactics as well as their results.
Apply the decals over a gloss coat so that no silvering appears. Cut the motif out, soak it briefly in lukewarm water and slide it onto the model. A decal softening solution helps the decal cling over the panel lines. Once dry, seal it with a final clear coat of whatever sheen you want.
This is only a decal set. The model, paints and clear coat are not included in the package.
