Aber 1:48 photo-etched grilles for the Panther Ausf. D replace the coarse plastic covers of the engine compartment with a fine, pierced metal mesh.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched metal detail set in 1:48 scale for models of the Panther Ausf. D tank. It is not a kit but an accessory: the set of thin photo-etched parts replaces the solid plastic grilles over the radiators and fans at the rear. A pierced metal mesh reads realistically and allows a view into the depths of the engine compartment.
The Panther Ausf. D was the first production version of the German medium tank Panther, from 1943. The characteristic grilles on the upper armor plate at the rear protected the radiators and the fans of the cooling system of its powerful engine. In a reduced scale they stand out precisely as a fine metal mesh.
Take the parts carefully out of the fret, bend them to the shape of the covers if needed and glue them on with a small quantity of cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the photo-etched parts before painting and spray them with a primer so that the paint holds well.
A standalone photo-etched accessory. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
