Two kinds of help at once: Dornier Do 217N, wheels and painting masks, early B variant, 1:48 brings detailed wheels and masks that make painting the tires easier.
Responsibility details are not available.
A wheel is seen close up and from below on a model, so a simplified tread pattern and an inaccurate hub shape show at once. The set deals with both and adds masks with which the dividing line between rubber and hub is achieved without a shaky brush-painted line. The name specifies the early variant designated B.
The Dornier Do 217 came about as an enlarged and more powerful successor to an older bomber of the same family and was among the largest machines in its class in German service. The N version was a night fighter intended to defend against night raids. It received liquid-cooled engines, radar with a conspicuous array of aerials on the nose and heavy forward-firing armament; some machines also carried obliquely mounted guns firing upward. The large, heavy aircraft lacked agility but offered long endurance and room for the crew to work the complex equipment.
Finish the surface of the hub first and only then deal with the rubber; the opposite order leads to needless repainting. The tires of real machines were never coal black, rather a dark gray with a dusty cast, and the sidewalls tended to be lighter than the tread. Let the masks bed down over their whole area and apply the paint in several light coats, so that it does not run under the edge.
Paints and the aircraft kit itself are not part of the offer.
