Hobby 2000 1:48 Douglas A-4M Skyhawk US Marines is a plastic kit of the American carrier-based attack aircraft in the Marine Corps version.
Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the American Douglas A-4M Skyhawk light attack aircraft in 1:48 scale from Hobby 2000. The edition focuses on the machines of the US Marine Corps and brings the corresponding decals. The package contains plastic parts, a clear cockpit part and a decal sheet.
The Douglas A-4 Skyhawk was a compact and light carrier-based attack aircraft that, thanks to its simplicity and reliability, stayed in service for long decades. The A-4M version was the highest-performing production Skyhawk, intended for the US Marine Corps, with a more powerful engine, improved avionics and an enlarged dorsal hump. It served for close air support and attacks on ground targets.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Finish the cockpit before closing the fuselage and mask the canopy. We recommend a primer, covering with an airbrush and a gloss varnish before the decals; prepare the underwing stores and the tanks separately. Bring out the panel lines with a fine wash.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
