Eduard F-111 early seatbelts 1:48 is a color photo-etched set of pre-finished safety belts for a model of the early versions of the F-111 fighter-bomber in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A color (pre-finished) photo-etched set from Eduard in 1:48 scale aimed at the safety harness of the pilot and the second crew member for the early versions of the F-111 bomber. It is not an aircraft model but an accessory (a detail set) that replaces the simplified plastic belts with fine metal parts carrying a faithful rendering of the buckles and the stitching.
The General Dynamics F-111 was a two-seat supersonic bomber and attack aircraft with a variable-geometry wing. It served from the 1960s and it became famous for its ability to penetrate at low level at high speed. The form of the belts and the cockpit differed between the early and the later versions, which is what the set marked early matches.
Separate the parts carefully from the fret with a sharp knife and shape them with tweezers or on a photo-etch bending tool. The color belts are pre-finished and there is no need to repaint them. They are glued with cyanoacrylate or with glue for photo-etch.
The accessory comes unassembled. Glue, paints and the base model are not included unless stated otherwise.
