The cockpit of the F-111F version in its early form with three-dimensional decals for 1:48 scale. The installation replaces the interior of the forward fuselage. The installation is shaped for the Academy kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
An installation of the cockpit space for the most powerful combat version of the F-111 series, done to the early form and supplemented with three-dimensional panel decals. The manufacturer also carries a set matching the later state beside it, so the builder can choose according to the period he wants to capture. The casting fits between the shells of the forward fuselage of the Academy kit.
The F-111F received a modified engine with higher thrust and, with it, the ability to carry a targeting pod for guiding bombs. Thanks to that it became a carrier of precision ordnance over great distances and served longer than the older versions. A variable-geometry wing allowed it to take off with a large load and still fly low and fast, which made the crew workspace a very busy place. The pair seated side by side had instruments in front of them both for flight close above the terrain and for working with weapons.
First try dry whether the casting fits between the shells of the forward fuselage. Then wash it, cut off the casting blocks and level the contact faces. Painting goes from a dark base toward light edges, the decals are laid onto a smooth gloss and fixed with a matte overcoat. The small projections will take careful handling, but not pressure.
