A specialized self-adhesive masking set from New Ware for a model of the American Grumman F-14B Tomcat carrier fighter in 1:48 scale. The set is aimed at the exhaust (jet) nozzles of the engines: it makes it possible to paint their individual petals and inner parts with an airbrush instead of using large decals, which gives a far more realistic look to the metal nozzles. The masks are cut from quality kabuki film with a sharp edge and accurate fit.

Use

• Stick the pre-cut masks onto the individual petals and surfaces of the nozzles as instructed.
• Build up the transitions on the nozzles by spraying metallic and tinting shades one after another.
• Peel the masks off and you have precisely bounded color areas without using decals.
