A resin detail set from Aires in 1:48 scale, made to replace the cockpit of the plastic kit of the two-seat F-16D Block 40 fighter. The set replaces the out-of-the-box interior with a more accurate rendering of the cockpit, with an instrument panel, side consoles, cockpit tubs and a seat. It is an aftermarket accessory for more experienced modelers, not an airplane model.
The F-16 Fighting Falcon is a single-engine multirole fighter. The F-16D is the two-seat version, and the Block 40 standard belongs to the generation with expanded equipment for ground attack as well as air combat.
Wash the parts to remove the mold release agent, separate the casting blocks and bond them with super glue. The cockpit is painted and shaded before the fuselage is closed. Fine shading of the panels and instruments is worth doing for a three-dimensional look.
This is a resin accessory. The kit itself, glue and paints are not included in the package.
