This is a resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer Eduard in 1:48 scale, BRASSIN range. It is not an aircraft kit but a set of replacement landing gear wheels for a Phantom II model in the F-4B and F-4N versions. The castings replace the plastic parts from the base kit and bring a sharper tread pattern and more detail on the hubs and the valves. Photo-etched accessories and self-adhesive painting masks for cleanly separating the tire from the hub are usually included.
The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is an American two-seat supersonic multirole fighter, used above all by the US Navy and the US Marine Corps. The F-4B version was one of the first production carrier variants, while the F-4N was a later upgrade of the airframe and systems. These naval versions carried narrower main wheels than the later types, which the set respects.
First wash the parts free of mold release agent, carefully separate the casting blocks and clean up the surfaces with respiratory protection. Bond the resin with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before gluing, use the masks supplied to mask the tread; the tires and the hubs can then easily be sprayed separately.
This is a landing gear accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
