Quinta Studio 1:48 F-4E/G - 3D decals for the wing straps

A set of colored 3D decals from Quinta Studio that transfers the faithful external detail of the reinforcing wing straps onto the wing of the model. The details are printed on decal paper, have a fine three-dimensional relief and are pre-colored. It is not a kit but an exterior accessory for models of the F-4E and F-4G Phantom II fighters in 1:48 scale. The accessory is laid out for the Meng F-4E/G kit.

The real subject

The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II is a legendary two-seat fighter and fighter-bomber of the Cold War. The F-4E version was multi-role, while the F-4G Wild Weasel specialized in suppressing enemy air defenses.

Use

• The decal is cut out, dipped briefly in water and slid into place on the wing.
