Responsibility details are not available.
This die-cut self-adhesive Eduard masking set in 1:48 scale is intended for a plastic model of the American Vought F-8 Crusader carrier fighter. It is neither a kit nor a standalone model but a set of precisely shaped masks in thin yellow masking tape (kabuki). The masks will be appreciated by modelers who want crisp color edges on the glazing, the wheels and the camouflage fields without the slow job of cutting tape by hand.
The Vought F-8 Crusader is an American supersonic carrier fighter from the Cold War era. Its distinctive feature was the variable-incidence wing, which could be tilted as a whole and which improved the view and the handling during takeoff and landing on deck. It served mainly with the US Navy and the Marine Corps and was known as a thoroughbred air-combat fighter.
Degrease the glazing of the bubble canopy. Lift the masks off the backing, lay them on the frame of the windshield and of the sliding section and press them into the edges. Spray the color with an airbrush in thin coats. The wheel masks separate the tire from the rim. Once the paint has dried, peel the masks off carefully at a sharp angle.
The package contains masks only. The model, the paints, the glue and the decals are not included, unless stated otherwise.
