A color 3D-printed interior set on decal paper for a plastic model of the F4U-5N Corsair fighter, 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory replacing the cockpit surfaces of the base model. The parts have three-dimensional relief and are colored straight away, including the instrument panel, the dials and the controls, so the pilot's space looks realistic even without hand painting.

The real subject

The Vought F4U Corsair was an American carrier-based fighter with characteristic bent wings. The F4U-5N version was the night fighter variant of the postwar period with radar and modified equipment, deployed among other places in the Korean War.

Use

• Release the part from the paper in warm water like a classic decal.
• Because of the greater thickness, fix it with a water-thinnable glue or with acrylic varnish.
• Do not use decal softeners or setting solutions, as they would damage the material.
• Sand the raised relief of the plastic down beforehand so that the interior seats flat.
