A pair of spare blades in the large form with a straight, flat edge. Blades numbered 101 and up belong in large handles and scalpels on which more pressure is reckoned with than on thin knives for detail. The straight edge is the most universal shape of the whole series and is used for ordinary cutting as well as for leveling surfaces.
The set is intended for modelers who work with a large handle and want a supply of sharp edges. It pays to change the blade before it is completely blunt, because a blunt edge tears the material rather than cutting it and the cut is harder to lead. A package of two pieces covers the ordinary consumption during the build of a larger project.
The blades are very sharp. Change them carefully, cut away from the body on a cutting mat and put used blades into a closed container. Keep out of the reach of children.
