A resin set of replacement main landing gear wheels from CMK, intended to correct a model of the British single-engine Fairey Battle bomber in 1:48 scale. The usual kit offers wheels with flat, perforated hub caps, whereas the real machines had convex caps; the set corrects that discrepancy. The tires are weighted in addition (slightly flattened where they touch the ground) and more finely detailed than the plastic parts.
The product is intended for the Trumpeter kit. That is bought separately.
The Fairey Battle was a British light bomber of the late 1930s. Despite its modern construction it soon became obsolete and suffered heavy losses in the first campaigns of the war; even so, it remains a striking subject from the start of the Second World War.
Supplied as an unpainted resin set of accessories. Paints, glue and the kit are not included in the package.
