A detailed pilot's compartment of the Fw-190A-3 1:48 (Eduard)

The set from the Brassin modeling line brings, in 1:48 scale, a completely reworked pilot's compartment of the German Focke-Wulf Fw-190A-3 fighter. It combines resin castings with colored etched parts (the instrument panel, the belts, small levers), thanks to which the cockpit gains a depth and fidelity that the plastic tub from a kit will not offer.

Material and building

  • Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts and separate them from the casting blocks.
  • Glue the colored etched parts with super glue, and sand the cut faces with respiratory protection.
  • Dry-fit the seating of the cockpit before you close the fuselage up.
  • Bring the detail out with a wash and a fine dry brush.
