An injection-molded plastic kit of the German fighter aircraft Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-10 in 1:48 scale from the Hobby Boss brand. The model has a finely engraved panel structure, a well worked out cockpit and clear parts, and it captures one of the versions of the so-called long-nose Dora.
The Fw 190D line, nicknamed Dora, came about by converting the Fw 190 fighter to the inverted V12 Junkers Jumo 213 engine, which called for the characteristic extension of the nose and the rear fuselage. The D-10 version was a project derived from this line and was marked by a different powerplant. It is a late branch of development of one of the best known German fighters of the Second World War.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic and sand the joints. Paint the cockpit before closing the fuselage. The late German camouflage with mottling on the fuselage will stand out with an airbrush and fine shading.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
