An injection-molded plastic kit of the French jet trainer Fouga CM.170 Magister in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Heller. The model captures the characteristic silhouette of the machine with its unconventional butterfly V-tail.
The Magister was one of the first jet trainers allowing the training of pilots from the basic to the advanced stages. The prototype flew in 1952 and the machine then became the backbone of training in a number of countries. Its mark of recognition is the butterfly tail arrangement.
Finish the cockpit and any nose weight before gluing the fuselage. For the varied training schemes an airbrush and gloss varnish under the decals come in handy. Watch for clean fit and masking of the cockpit glazing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
