Aires Fouga Magister flaps - opened 1:48 - a resin set of landing flaps in the lowered, open position for a model of the Fouga Magister trainer in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of landing flaps from Aires. It replaces the flaps of a plastic kit with a more accurate casting and lets you show them in the lowered, open position, that is as they look on takeoff and landing. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers, built into a base model of the Fouga Magister in 1:48 scale.
The Fouga CM.170 Magister was a French two-seat jet trainer of the 1950s. It stood out for its butterfly V-tail and became one of the first jet trainers built in series. It served in a number of countries for pilot training and in some cases on light combat tasks as well.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding resin. Lay down a primer before painting; the edges and the flap mechanism come out after light shading.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
