A set of accessories in 1:48 scale: equipment for storing and replenishing fuel in the German army during the Second World War.
Responsibility details are not available.
Small equipment of the facilities in 1:48 scale, that is the containers in which fuel was stored during the Second World War and from which the tanks of equipment were replenished. These are accessories to a scene, not a stand-alone model: without a vehicle, a sentry or a stretch of field track they come across as inconspicuous, but they will give a scene credibility and scale.
The German twenty liter jerrycan with three handles and a hinged lever closure is among the most recognizable objects of that time. The design proved itself so well that opponents took it over too and it is still made in a similar form today. Alongside jerrycans, fuel was stored in steel drums, pumped over with hand pumps and topped up with funnels. Plenty of such objects lay about around vehicles, on airfields and in field stores, so a few pieces set down by the side of a vehicle are entirely in place.
A set of accessories is supplied. The model of the vehicle, figures, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
