The Aires German 20mm guns MG 151 set 1:48 — a resin armament set with faithful castings of German 20 mm aircraft cannon in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin armament set from the Czech maker Aires. It holds detailed castings of the German 20 mm MG 151 aircraft weapon, that is, the MG 151/20 variant. It is an accessory for refining the armament of Second World War aircraft models in 1:48 scale, or for fitting into open weapons compartments.
The MG 151/20 was a German 20 mm aircraft cannon, one of the most widespread onboard weapons of the Luftwaffe in the Second World War. It was fitted to a range of fighters and multi-seat aircraft. The set captures its shape and articulation more faithfully than injection-molded plastic allows.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways when sanding resin. Lay down a primer before painting; the details are best brought out by building up layers with a fine brush, and the larger surfaces with an airbrush.
This is a resin accessory for a kit, not an airplane model. It is supplied unassembled and unpainted; the base model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
