An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Panzer IV medium tank in the Ausf.F2 version in 1:48 scale. It is a new mold with well-worked detail on the hull, the turret and the running gear. The model builds the version armed with the long 7.5 cm gun, which the Germans fielded as an answer to the Soviet T-34 tanks.
The Panzer IV was the most widespread German medium tank and served throughout the war in many modifications. The Ausf.F2 version of 1942 received a long-barreled 7.5 cm gun, which markedly raised the armor-piercing effect of the machine compared with the earlier infantry-support variants with a short barrel.
Assemble and paint the running gear before you close the hull. For clean joints use liquid cement for plastic and a base of primer. For weathering, filters, washes in the recesses and pigments for mud and dust effects on the running gear and the underside of the hull work well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
