This set from Quickboost is not an airplane model, but a set of fine resin antennas with which, in 1:48 scale, you replace the coarser or missing parts on a kit of the British Gloster Javelin fighter. The cast antennas are thinner and crisper than injection-molded plastic can manage, and the finished model gains in fidelity.
The Gloster Javelin was a twin-engine British fighter with a distinctive delta wing and high-set tail surfaces. It served with the Royal Air Force from the mid-1950s as an all-weather interceptor able to operate by day and by night.
First wash the small castings in soapy water because of the mold release agent from the mold. Separate the antennas carefully from the casting block with a sharp knife and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue; thin parts are easily lost, so work over a tray. Do any sanding with respiratory protection.
It is supplied as an unpainted set of resin parts. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
